18 July 2024 - Dr Mato Arlović, Judge, has been appointed as the new Deputy President of the Constitutional Court at today Court's Session. He succeeds Judge Dr Snježana Bagić, who held this duty for twelve years (her mandate expired on 15 June) and whom President Šeparović thanked for her many years of excellent cooperation.

According to the Rules of Procedure of the Constitutional Court, Deputy President substitutes the President of the Court in his absence or in the event of his incapacity, and performs other duties assigned to him by the President. The Deputy President is appointed for a renewable term of two years by a public vote of the majority of all judges at a Session of the Court on the proposal of the President of the Court.
