28 September 2026 - Deputy President Dr Maša Marochini Zrinski participated in the first Civil Procedure Law Day, held at the Croatian State Archives in Zagreb. The event, jointly organised by the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia and the Judicial Academy, brought together members of the legal academic community and the judiciary to exchange views on current issues in civil procedure law. The central part of the event consisted of four panels, during which judges of the Supreme Court, the High Commercial Court, and county and municipal courts, together with professors from the Chair of Civil Procedure Law, discussed some of the most important issues in civil litigation, including litigation costs, the alienation of assets or right during proceedings, appeals against judgments in civil proceedings, and the application and effectiveness of the pilot procedure. The first Civil Procedure Law Day thus provided an opportunity for professional discussion and an exchange of experiences between the judiciary and academia on issues relevant to the further development and effective application of civil procedure law.
