6 September 2018 - In Seoul, from 2 to 5 September 2018, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea hosted a conference on constitutional justice and democracy marking the 30th anniversary of its foundation. At this international gathering, more than a hundred participants, constitutional court judges from 30 countries as well as representatives of the Venice Commission and Korean Judiciary and academy, addressed the challenges encountered by constitutional courts in their work related to the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms and electoral processes. The Constitutional Court of Croatia was at the Conference represented by Dr Miroslav Šeparović, President, and Judges Rajko Mlinarić and Davorin Mlakar, who presided of the session on the status of constitutional justice.
