16 February 2007 - Within the international cooperation program of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia the Court held a regular working and official meeting with judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Slovenia in Zagreb. The Slovenian delegation was headed by Prof. Janez Čebulj, President, and the main subject was about relation between constitutional and supreme courts and the separation of their jurisdiction. Discussions were also held on the Slovenian Misdemeanour Act and its impact on the workings of the Slovenian Constitutional Court. Also other issues related to the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms were tackled, in particular regarding the heavy caseload of both Courts.
