20 June 2010 - Professor Jasna Omejec, President of the Court participated, upon the invitation of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Serbia, in the round table on the draft Amendments to the Act on the Constitutional Court of the Republic Serbia, which was, in the organisation of the Serbian Ministry of Justice and German Foundation for International Assistance and Cooperation, held in Belgrade on 18 June 2010. The gathering was opened by Mrs Snežana Malović, Serbian Minister of Justice, Dr. Bosa Nenadić, President of the Serbian Constitutional Court and Mr. Huck, the IRZ representative, while the expert opinions were delivered by Dr. Gerd-Heinrich Kemper and Professor Jasna Omejec, President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia. In addition to these experts the representatives of the Ministry of Justice and Judges of the Serbian Constitutional Court also took part in the deliberations. The amendments to the respective Act included several issues like the employment rights and obligations of the judges and the work of the Constitutional Court in councils.
