22 October 2010 - Upon the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia, Professor Dr. Jasna Omejec, a delegation of the German Federal Constitutional Court, led by President Professor Dr. Andreas Voßkuhle, paid an official visit to the Republic of Croatia from 20 to 22 October 2010. The delegation also included Vice President Professor Dr. Ferdinand Kirchhof and Judges Dr. Christine Hohmann-Dennhardt, Professor Dr. Gertrude Lübbe-Wolff, Professor Dr. Herbert Landau and Professor Dr. Andreas L. Paulus. The German and Croatian Constitutional Court judges held two separate sessions where they discussed, among other things, also the relationship between the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany and the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg especially with regard to the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU and about the requirements for lodging constitutional complaints and the system of their filtration, with the special emphasis on dealing with vexatious (persistent) complaints. The President and judges of the Federal Constitutional Court were also received by Professor Dr. Ivo Josipović, President of the Republic of Croatia and Mr. Luka Bebić, Speaker of the Croatian Parliament.
