26 June 2015 - Judge Dr Snježana Bagić, Deputy President of the Court received today a group of participants in the international conference entitled The critical legal studies perspective on the role of courts in the EU: transformation or re-constitution of Europe, to be held today and tomorrow at the Faculty of Law Zagreb. Judge Bagić introduced the guests in the workings and organisation of the Constitutional Court and its position in the Croatian legal system. Among other things, they also addressed issues of preliminary questions to the Court of Justice of the European Union and position of EU law in the hierarchy of legal norms in Croatia. In the group that visited the Court were also Judge Koen Lenaerts, Vice President of the Court of Justice of the EU, Dr Siniša Rodin, Judge of the Court of Justice of the EU and Mr Branko Hrvatin, President of the Supreme Court of Croatia.
