28 October 2014 - Professor Jasna Omejec, President of the Croatian Constitutional Court, together with Dr Snježana Bagić, Deputy President, received today in a curtesy call H.E. Susan Cox, Ambassador of Australia to the Republic of Croatia. President Omejec informed Ambassador Cox, who gave her credentials in December 2012, about the functioning and organisation of the Croatian Constitutional Court and they also discussed particularities of the Australian legal system. Ambassador pointed out that not only Croatian judiciary fights with the large number of pending cases but also Australian courts struggle with the same problem. She also commented on the currently very hot issue of extradiction cases in her homeland country.
