22 February 2022 - Organised by the French Constitutional Council, French Council of State and Court of Cassation, the Conference of the heads of the supreme courts of the member states of the European Union was held in Paris on 21 February 2022. The high officials deliberated in a plenary session, and in the three workshops on the following topics: "Courts faced with new public health, technological and environmental challenges"; "Judge and time: judge of the moment and judge of the long term"; "The protection of fundamental rights: the challenges of the articulation of national law and European laws". The Constitutional Court of Croatia was represented by Dr Snježana Bagić, Deputy President, who delivered a speech "Croatia and COVID-19 - Constitutional Perspective".
The Conference, which was organised to mark 2022 French presidency of the Council of the European Union, was also attended by Dr Koen Lenaerts, President of the EU Court of Justice and Robert Spano, President of the European Court of Human Rights.
