11 November 2016 - President of the Constitutional Court, Dr Miroslav Šeparović, received in a curtesy call H.E. József Zoltán Magyar, Ambassador of Hungary to Croatia. In a friendly talk they addressed several topics related to constitutional judiciary of the two countries, particularly in relation to different systems of election of judges and presidents and the fact that the Hungarian Constitutional Court has been waiting for the Parliament to elect a new President for several months now. They agreed that both societies share similar social development and deal with similar social issues. In the end they emphasised good relations between the two Constitutional Courts, and both sides wished for the contacts to intensify.
