27 April 2016 - A delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania composed of: Mr. Kujtim Osmani, Secretary General; Mr. Kujtim Sheshi, Head of the Financial and Human Resources Department; Ms Jonida Kondili, Ms Kaliona Nushi and Ms Fiona Papajorgji, Legal Advisers, paid a study visit to the Croatian Constitutional Court. During their two-day stay in Zagreb, the Albanian delegation met with the staff of the General Secretariat headed by the Secretary General, Dr Teodor Antić. In several meetings the delegation was introduced in the organization and functioning of the our Court. Particular attention was paid to constitutional complaints proceedings, and the counterparts exchanged experiences in various fields related to the jurisdiction of the two Courts. The visiting delegation was also received by the President of the Croatian Constitutional Court, Professor Dr Jasna Omejec.
The Constitutional Courts of the two countries established bilateral cooperation in 1993, but this was the first visit at the non-judicial level.
