50th anniversary of constitutional judiciary in Serbia

18 October 2013 - President of the Croatian Constitutional Court, Professor Dr Jasna Omejec, participated in the ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Serbia, held in Belgrade from 16 to 18 October 2013.

At the international conference "Position and perspectives of constitutional justice" she addressed the participants, among which also delegations of different European Constitutional Courts and the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, with a lecture on the perspectives of national constitutional judiciary in the European judicial area, specially emphasising the necessity for constitutional courts to create the European constitutional knowledge network through their mutual multi-level cooperation. In this network, the national courts should function as pillars in the European architecture of the protection of human rights together with the two European Courts, as powerful members of the corporate team. CONSTITUTIONAL COMPLAINTS - INSTRUCTIONS
A large number of constitutional complaints are filed by the applicants themselves, without a representative. These submissions, as well as many other constitutional complaints, very often do not meet the requirements for filing a constitutional complaint set out in the Constitutional Act on the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia.

In order to provide assistance to everyone - whether they are the applicants of a constitutional complaint or their representatives - on these pages of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia you can obtain a free form for a constitutional complaint, as well as detailed instructions for completing it.
